Terms of Use
Effective June 20, 2026. By using Borali, you agree to these terms.
Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Borali mobile application and website (the "Service"), operated by Borali. By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Service. These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Borali. If you are under 18 (or the age of majority where you live), you may only use the Service with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
Your Account
You can sign in using third-party providers (such as Apple or Google) or browse as a guest. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity that occurs under it.
Notify us immediately at contato@borali.app of any unauthorized use of your account. You may delete your account at any time, as described on our Account Deletion page.
User Content
Borali lets you create and publish content such as reviews, photos, stories, events, places, and other materials ("User Content"). You retain all ownership rights to the User Content you submit.
License you grant: By submitting User Content, you grant Borali a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate, and display that content for the purpose of operating, providing, and promoting the Service. This license ends when you delete your User Content, except where it has been shared with others who have not deleted it, or where retention is required by law.
You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to the User Content you submit, and that it does not infringe the rights of any third party. You are solely responsible for your User Content.
We may remove or restrict any User Content that violates these Terms or applicable law, or that we reasonably consider harmful or objectionable.
Acceptable Use
When using Borali, you agree not to:
- Publish content that is unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, hateful, obscene, or that violates the rights of others;
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with a place, event, or artist;
- Post false, misleading, or spam reviews or listings;
- Upload viruses or malicious code, or attempt to disrupt or compromise the Service;
- Collect or harvest data from other users without their consent;
- Use the Service for any purpose that is illegal or prohibited by these Terms.
Third-Party Content and Listings
Borali displays information about places, events, and artists that may be submitted by users or obtained from third parties. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of this information, and its presence does not constitute an endorsement.
If you own or represent a place, event, or artist, you are responsible for the content you publish or claim, and for ensuring you have the right to do so. Requests for correction or removal can be sent to contato@borali.app.
Intellectual Property
The Service, including its name, logo, design, software, and content created by Borali, belongs to Borali and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use Borali's trademarks or branding without prior written permission.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, nor do we guarantee any specific result from using it.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Borali shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, nor for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, including reliance on content published by other users or third parties.
Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that may harm Borali or others. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Any dispute shall be subject to the courts of the user's domicile, as provided by the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code where applicable.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you through the app. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
